What ever happened to the smarterchild bot? I remember being amazed as a kid that it was a robot on AIM that would reply just like a person. I don't remember it being dumb like modern "AI" chatbots, but it would play coy if it didn't know the answer in a reasonable way. I feel like we've regressed from there. RIP old buddy. I hope you didn't save our chat logs from that era because man that would be cringey to look at now
