Personally I look at https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyItForLife/ https://www.reddit.com/r/BuyItForLife/, and then data backed sites like https://appliance.report/ https://appliance.report/ and i try to find small, geeky blogs from people who clearly love the subject matter
