- 1cvmask 5y agoIt’s interesting to see another South Korean company in the creative Youtube space succeed like Gangnam Style. Had no idea Baby Shark was from South Korean company Pinkfong. - tanseydavid 5y agoFirst time someone linked me to Gangnam Style on Youtube I was completely perplexed and truly suspicious because the view count just looked WRONG -- like it was possibly a look-a-like site with a bullshit viewcount. It was the first time I ever saw a view count >1B and I remain astonished by this kind of reach. 10B is an entirely different level still.

- resoluteteeth 5y agoIt's "views" not "unique viewers"
- whitesilhouette 5y agoAlso, even unique viewers (that works to be determined by unique screens or IPs) don't mean unique people.
- mrlonglong 5y agoAnd even then it's all mostly kids playing it on repeat. Bloody annoying having to listen to it for hours.
