  I wouldn't say I have a "stride" now. I don't write unless I personally feel the topic is interesting so it's tough to call my writing scheduled or disciplined. Most of my posts go almost completely unread -- that's fine by me.

    That makes sense. I’m used to write almost compulsively (but just for my eyes). I see the value in having a blog in that it does no harm to contribute something likely no one will find. Some of the best essays I have written started out as letters, after all.
