I wonder why they couldn't go just a bit wider to make it 2880x2880 (1:1 and the same number of pixels as 4K), instead of 2560x2880.
- firstcommentyo 5y agoActually I wonderd similar. However I guess the resolution comes straight from the marketing department since 16:18 is 16:9+9 which is, as already kinda mentioned in the article, 2x 16:9 screens stacked on top of each other.
- nicoburns 5y agoI imagine it comes straight from the technical department. I suspect this is literally two 16:9 panels stacked on top of each other.

- Terretta 5y agoAnd worse, it’s 2 x 1440p panels, instead of 2 x 4K panels. This is a poke in the eye for “retina” users.
