In some European countries there is a New Year tradition of melting lead and pouring it into water (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molybdomancy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molybdomancy). The sale of these kits was only banned in 2018.
- jakub_g 5y agoTIL! There's similar thing in Poland but with wax and on 29th November (St. Andrew's). Arguably, less harmful than using lead :)
