Arlo has a solid stance on privacy but is definitely cloud based unless you get one of the older ones with a base station. Their products are also made in china though.
You could also do the whole Raspberry Pi Cam thing.
- GekkePrutser 5y agoThe raspberry thing is not stable though on three pi zero w. I tried both motioneye and RPOS (the latter does rtsp and ONVIF) but the software hung really frequently and needed to be reset. I think you just need faster hardware.
