- queuebert 5y agoThat article talks about an "engine head" of Co-60. That's not a correct translation. The radiotherapy unit has a Co-60 source in it, and it is called a "head", but there is no engine. You just open the doors and shine the source onto a patient for a carefully calculated number of seconds, then shut the doors. It works in an almost identical way to the Cs-137 source from above.
