- dang 5y agoPlease do not take HN threads further into flamewar hell. A reply like this is arguably worse than the original post, since the flames would die out on their own if not fed. That's why we have this in the guidelines: "Don't feed egregious comments by replying; flag them instead." a.k.a. please don't feed the trolls If HN users follow that rule and do both (i.e. both not reply and also flag), not only will the flames not be fed, they'll be put out.
