The underwater ‘hotspot’ feeding La Palma’s volcano will create new islands
- csense 5y agoIf you know where an island's going to spawn, can you camp that spot in a boat, plant a flag on the island before anyone else, and create your own country?
- Arnt 5y agoSure. Wear magmaproof boots. If you don't care to wait or are worried about your boots, you could do the same right now. There's a nice large unclaimed antarctic area.
- jobigoud 5y agoI don't think the spot is in international waters. There is also a maritime dispute with Morocco in the area.
