- ginko 5y agoTeaching a young kid to bet(i.e. gamble) seems crazy.
- Mikeb85 5y agoProbably more useful than teaching them how to save with the way the economy's going.
- xur17 5y agoI read your comment before reading the article, and went in with that view. The article changed my mind. The parent wasn't playing dice games with their kid, they were placing small wagers on the probabilities of things occurring. Building up a mental model for probabilties / risks seems valuable to me.
