- wizzwizz4 5y agoI believe that EU law allows anyone to make USB ports and stuff. It's the USB logo that you're not allowed without licensing fees.

- jjcon 5y agoThat was my first thought, it seems weird to throw a mandate on proprietary licensed hardware. It could lead to very weird outcomes if usbif decides to throw its weight around for political (or geopolitical) reasons.
