Actually the domain you own is almost certainly firstname.lastname.name, but the email is setup so firstname@lastname.name works. It's particular to the .name TLD.
- darklajid 15y agoNo, I certainly own (and the convention you talk about is why I'm not sure if it holds up forever) for now the domain mylastname.name. I found a registrar that sold this domain to me, anything you throw at it ends up on one of my machines.
