I'd recommend some sort of headset over the internal mic and speakers, otherwise you end up fighting the echo cancelling when you're trying to get a word into a conversation or interrupt someone. In general I feel that zoom convos don't flow as naturally as IRL, but they're even worse when a counterpart doesn't have a headset with a good mic.
