Google+ solves most of the problems I have with Facebook. The circles more or less reimplement what I have been using with Livejournal for ten years now. I've been migrating as many of my contacts off of FB as I can, with the plan to cull my FB friends list and then ditching it as far as daily use is concerned. If I am applying the Gervais Principle right, Google+ will never completely supplant Facebook. That's fine by me.
