- mdgrech23 5y agodogs aren't wild animals though - their existence really only exists b/c we allow it.
- steve_adams_86 5y agoWild, previously domesticated dogs are a thing. Some strays out there would continue to survive without humans around, too.
- bonoboTP 5y agoRight. Many predators only eat occasionally and then lie around doing nothing for days.
- 29athrowaway 5y agoThe presence of a predator scares the prey. And that is useful in many ways. It helps vegetation regenerate, among other things.
