Understandable you'd think Kinder was a German brand, but they're made by Ferrero, an Italian company.
- mrtksn 5y agoAh, I keep forgetting that. "Kinder" sounds very German to me.
- oooooooooooow 5y agoIt is, German for "Child" (cfr. Kindergarten)
- majewsky 5y agoActually, it's German for "children".
- ithkuil 5y agoBecause the word is german indeed. Ferrero has an long history in using foreign words in their product names. E.g. Mon Cheri chocolate in 1956 Nutella in 1964 ("nut" also not an italian word, which would be "nocciola")
