- screamingninja 5y agoIn response, Hirono said racial discrimination in higher education is already illegal and called the Cruz-Kennedy amendment a “transparent and cynical attack” on university policies that aim to promote diverse student bodies, according to Politico. Also, why is just one demographic being singled out for protection from discrimination?
- TOSSAWAY_1 5y agoHirono effectively said they're fine with this form of discrimination. Its not an endearing statement or point. But I like your last line, indeed, all discrimination matters.

- smt88 5y agoThis is intellectually interesting (in the sense that the GOP is grandstanding by trying to illegalize something that is already illegal), but it's also a political culture war that I don't think we should wage on this site.
