Are there any considerations using signal as an identity verification platform for other services?
- josh2600 5y agoI can’t speak for signal but I don’t expect them to ever scan a driver’s license or passport.
- mklarmann 5y agoI meant an anonymous identity system linked to blockchain technology.
- josh2600 5y agoDo you have a design proposal for such a system?
- mklarmann 5y agoNo, but: https://democracy.earth https://democracy.earth uses a couple of systems to connect to it (https://fortmatic.com,https://www.portis.io https://fortmatic.com,https://www.portis.io, https://walletconnect.org https://walletconnect.org) - I don't know why they ditched https://metamask.io https://metamask.io. Overall the adoption of these systems is too difficult. Something that could be overcome with signal/mobilecoin. Democracy earth is just an example application. Overall I would appreciate to own my data and have it secure (like signal provides), when it comes to the whole ecosystem of the future for: social media, voting, contracts, etc.
