I was thinking why the f*k all the websites were turning into g*gle.com domain? That breaks all the link sharing. I thought if this is the problem of the mobile Safari. Turns out it is G*gle's evil plan to dominate all the WWW traffics :-/
- ec109685 5y agoSafari will auto-expand the AMP link to the deep link, so at least within iOS's default browser and using its share sheet, AMP doesn't break link sharing.
- flying_sheep 5y agoI usually copy link via long-press the location bar which is not auto converted. Besides AMP pages break horizontal scrolling in some page as well. For example: https://www.google.ca/amp/s/ca.finance.yahoo.com/amphtml/news/explainer-why-biden-halting-federal-153945872.html https://www.google.ca/amp/s/ca.finance.yahoo.com/amphtml/new... You can scroll left and right but it is not supposed to. Some app will also render wrong thumbnail for AMP links as well. Altogether AMP makes the UX much worse :-/
