I spent $4k usd in the domain name in 2015 and around another $4k in operating costs since then. It has virtually zero marketing and has organically picked up around 1,500 users. I use it myself every day which is success enough for me. Fun project that has helped me land a few jobs, and my scant user base seems to dig it.
