People always blame dummies on stuff like this but why can't it be all those secretive algo traders screwing up? The volume of this is $7 million, that's not much but also not small enough for a few day traders that are screwing up.
WSB have also been promoting Blackberry a ton. - krackers 6y agoI've always thought it's people (or algorithms) buying the stock in advance in the hopes that they'll profit from other people making a mistake and buying the stock. Sort of like typosquatting.
- antisthenes 6y agoI'm more surprised that it's taking so long to liquidate whatever assets Blockbuster had. It's not like they had any specialized equipment or intellectual property, did they?
