Starlink made this obsolete before it launched
- solarkraft 6y agoBut Loon launched in 2013 and Starlink in 2018 (?). In a world in which satellites stayed very expensive I could imagine it being a bit more successful.

- hckrnrd 6y agoWhile SpaceX is in the news, there’s also the Amazon LEO initiative: Project Kuiper. They’ve received FCC approval and have access to Blue Origin rockets to launch.
- omarforgotpwd 6y agoSure, there's lots of satellite internet services. most of them have failed to become financially viable
