I rarely read The Register. Is that the usual tone -- as if the author wishes they were Lady Whistledown, the gossip writer on Bridgerton?
- tym0 6y agoIt is, it's similar to Private Eye in the UK or Le Canard enchaîné in France.

- QuercusMax 6y agoMaybe with a little Variety mixed in, but you're not far off the mark. Definitely in the standard British vein of snarky tabloid writing.
