I do recommend maxing it out, i got a cheaper spec and it can be sluggish for multiple heavy loads, like three browsers at once (cpu bound).
- mraza007 6y agoNice Can you install your own linux distro on system76 laptop
- kapilkaisare 6y agoYes. I certainly do, running a Kubuntu install. If you are using a Ubuntu base, consider installing their Nvidia driver package.
- lambda_obrien 6y agoYou can for sure, but part of the appeal is that they've fixed some driver issues and daily usability stuff with pop os. Overall, though, the laptops are fine hardware and support Linux out of the box.
