"The progenitor had all the ability it needed to spread," said Sergei Pond. "There is little evidence of selection on lineages between bats and humans, although there is strong selection on coronaviruses in bats."
- jfim 6y ago> The analysis is consistent with man made Out of curiosity, does it matter that much at this point in time whether it's man made or not? I'd assume that it's probably a much better time to look into that once the pandemic is resolved, but I'd be interested in arguments to the contrary.
