Capacitor has backwards compatibility with many Cordova plugins. That being said, migration is fairly straightforward: https://capacitorjs.com/docs/cordova/migrating-from-cordova-to-capacitor https://capacitorjs.com/docs/cordova/migrating-from-cordova-... It's similar in theory to Cordova but quite a bit different in practice, so that's hard to say. Its about two years old but has been growing quickly (https://npmcharts.com/compare/@capacitor/core https://npmcharts.com/compare/@capacitor/core)
