From a company perspective I think this is a horrible idea, I don't want to push all my customers together so that they can all complain in the same place.
- bosswipe 6y agoThat would be too human. Better to keep them isolated and trapped trying to communicate through opaque dark patterns.
- notJim 6y agoThis is exactly why the internet is the way it is. I don't mean this as blaming you personally, it's just the incentives that exist under a capitalist system. The "problems" of the internet are structural in origin, and I'm skeptical they can be fixed with a chatbox.
- wweiss1230 6y agoI'm similarly skeptical they can be fixed with a chatbox. We're working toward a public platform where issues can be made visible on a broader scale. For those websites that would invite such feedback and be early adopters, we're creating a widget for them to do so. Eventually, people might come to expect this sort of public discourse.
