Every experienced old person ever trying to tell their teenagers about mistakes that could be made. It is quite difficult to get it through to the teenager.
Experience at life comes through living, and making the same mistakes others have made.
- tolbish 6y agoSometimes people actually do learn from others. Not everyone needs to be told "Refrain from X" to be able to make the connection that X is a poor life choice. We should be focusing on what factors set people apart in this way, rather than making blanket statements. That way we can learn from those who know how to learn.
