- WorldPeas 6y agoIf hacker news was food, to me it would be a sandwich, something you can eat while relaxing, or in a hurry, not too flavorful, and not too nutritious, but certainly the lesser evil of food-media.
- helen___keller 6y agoYou /s but I've found that I can consume HN content with roughly equal level of unhealthy interest that I consume reddit content That is to say, sometimes when I'm not particularly engaged with whatever else I should be doing on the computer, HN becomes my primary "addiction" and I find myself opening tabs and scrolling through content without particularly intending to
