A board competitive with the Raspberry Pi 1B (800 MHz single core) is not "incomparable."
- bscphil 6y agoThe 1B came out in 2012, and you can now get a Pi with 4× Cortex-A72 1.5 GHz and 2 GB of RAM for the same price as the 1B cost then. The title does say "alternative".
- snvzz 6y agorpi1b is still on sale, sure. It would be up to picorio being more open than the pi (easy to do, but not if they fuck up by including a powervr gpu) and/or using less power.
