- makx 6y agoThanks for sharing this! I just donated a week ago after receiving yet another email that made it sound like they're barely making ends meet. Now I feel cheated.
- dack 6y agoit looks like they have some savings now, but wouldn't make it 2 years if they stopped getting donations. it makes sense to me that they would continue to fundraise unless they had an alternative recurring source of funding
- aosaigh 6y agoGreat link. What assets do Wikipedia have? Looking at that, they’ve made a “profit” every single year. Do they use this to purchase assets (as obviously non-profit can’t distribute profits)?
- colejohnson66 6y agoThat’s the same argument used against voting. Your individual contribution may not matter, but the collective’s does matter.
