- traviso 15y agoThere's definitely a growing community. We're hoping to help build it too. I'm that there are tech communities all over the country. Especially in places I never expected like North Carolina! I'm hoping that The Cafe can be a place where any tech entrepreneur, regardless of experience and location can contribute and learn.
- haploid 15y agoThis is interesting. We're located in OC, and with the exception of the many "startups" being incubated by entertainment giants like Comcast/E!, I'm not aware of any SoCal tech/web startups. I will bookmark this.
- traviso 15y agoMaybe you'd be able to contribute a post sometime? Would you like it if we provided run-downs of local events?
- mindcrime 15y agoI'm that there are tech communities all over the country. Especially in places I never expected like North Carolina! Heh, it amazes me how many people haven't heard about the NC technology community, considering the history of RTP (the largest research park in the US)[1] and "The Triangle"[2] in general. I guess we need to do more to promote the local scene. But FWIW, there's a big list of Triangle area startups here: http://www.downtowndurhamstartups.com/content/startup+directory/8880 http://www.downtowndurhamstartups.com/content/startup+direct...
