It's alright, no matter how bad that feels, it will never be as bad as all of us who missed the BTC boat when it was a little baby a few years ago. People spending it frivolously and treating it like it was worthless toy money since it was pretty easy to get. Then look at it now...
- Pxtl 6y agoI had a quarter Bitcoin and spent it all on a Humble Bundle.
- jrockway 6y agoI have a friend who got into Bitcoin early. He had almost $300,000 when MtGox got hacked and he lost everything. So it wasn't all sunshine and roses.

- brobinson 6y agoI gave away 10+ bitcoins on Hacker News almost 10 years ago. lol (on a different account... I was an early adopter of this website, too) They would have been worth almost $200,000 at the peak of bitcoin's value, but I don't feel bad about it because there's no way I would have held them until that point. I mined them myself when they were worth like $12 each, and I definitely would have sold them when it hit $100.
