I enjoy language related subjects as much as I enjoy startup discussions. Unfortunately I don't agree with you (OP) in regards to removing valid technical or language topics in favor of pure startup discussions as both are valuable to me and I'm sure others share the sentiment, hence why they probably why you see a lot of them.
