Agreed, the captia is excessive. Ended up giving up on the site after trying to add in a second boat (not a sailor). It's very difficult to have a positive experience when the first thing that greets you is a source of frustration. It's also silly to put something like this between the user and the meat of your site. A significant number of people will just elect not to do this, and as a result never see what you wanted to show them.
