If an individual is unable to figure out how to show dotfiles in Finder on MacOS do you really want them making commits?
- manquer 6y agoWell it is preferable than getting a bunch of emails with filenames like (Copy)(Copy)_final_(11)__27th June. Git should not be limited to few folks who understand version control, there is a lot value for people who can just it linearly for collaborative history tracking
