When silence is better for white people
- ecmascript 6y agoThis post is quite racist. There you go, I have spoken out against racism.
- scohesc 6y agoIt does come off a little bit narcissistic and racist to tell an entire race how to act...
- atticusberg 6y agoRacism is problematic to the degree it creates racial inequity. Do you think this creates racial inequity?
- ecmascript 6y agoWhat? Racism is when you treat people different because of their race. Like this author does like the racist bigot he is.
- bzb3 6y agoWritten by Peter Berg.
- savyer 6y agoDid OP feel the need to get some easy medium karma? > White people, especially leaders, have a history of saying they are going to do things about racism and subsequently doing little or nothing. Maybe "white people, especially leaders" look at actual facts and not irrational tribalism, and realise what these people are asking for is special treatment - "Make us exempt from the common rules". Not just discriminatory rules but all rules. The protests are overshadowed by mass looting and lack of condemnation from those with a platform. It's now moved from black equality to black supremacy. The facts are uncomfortable and until every community is willing to confront bigotry in their own community, I'm never going to listen to houlier than thou proclamations, well intentioned or not. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
