IBM charged the customer for each server.
- mikereedell 6y agoor, as with my experience in licensing IBM stuff, the charged per CPU.
- jmspring 6y agoI believe Oracle, IBM, and some others still charge per core/cpu for various products. It's a nice business model to be in if you have locked in customers.
- xenospn 6y agoHell yeah they did. The analytics software cost more than the actual solution.
