It's a great idea technically, but I'm not sure whether you can sell a social networking app. Social networks are valuable in proportion to the number of users, and pay-for-access adds a huge barrier to growth.
They might be better off running some unobtrusive ads.

- mapleoin 16y agoFor users as well. If you're the only one using a social networking in your circle of friends, then it's not going to be very useful.
- jmreid 16y agoHaven't dug into the app much, but couldn't it be used in a business environment to structure the sharing of content to others?
- noverloop 16y agoexactly. also, social norms don't blend well with market norms... nobody (sane) is going to pay to talk to their friends.
