The Republicans regurlarly vote no to the Patriot act. There is no need to repeal it because it expired earlier this year. The democrats tried to renew it but it failed. And then covid happened. I don't have any idea how NSA handles the expiration of the act, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't even notice or care.
