In my own personal experience, some aspects of that list may be indicative of, or lead to mental health issues that may indeed have a substantial negative effect on the ability to seek out such opportunity. Irregardless of the truth each aspect of that statement, its commonly understood that beautiful people have easier access to opportunity than ugly people; we as humans are biased based on appearance.
