Bypass Paywalls Clean for Firefox
- joker765 6y agoRefactored extension/add-on with lots of new sites, bug-fixes, add custom sites and update-notification. Liberated from GitHub, now on BitBucket: https://bitbucket.org/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-firefox-clean https://bitbucket.org/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-firefox-c...

- dartharva 6y agoA better approach at installing your extension (and others) on Chrome without the pesky developer mode popup on Windows: 1. Drag and drop the .crx file on the Chrome Extensions page with Developer Mode enabled. It will automatically deactivate the extension once added. 2. Note the ID(s) of the extension you want to enable. This extension has ID: lkbebcjgcmobigpeffafkodonchffocl 3. Open regedit. Create a new string for each extension you want to enable with sequential names (indices), e.g. 1, 2,... under the key HKLM\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome\ExtensionInstallWhitelist (create one if it doesn't exist). Enter the extension ID(s) as string values in them. 4. Restart Chrome. It will mention 'managed by your organization' in the dropdown menu. 5. Once added, I've found that you can easily update this extension in chrome by dragging an updated crx file into the extensions page without having to create new registry values again.
- dr_kiszonka 6y agoThe Android version requires installing the Yandex Browser. Does anybody know if this browser is safe? Or at least on par with Chrome and Brave?
- joker765 6y agoWell, you don't have any options on Android (regarding support for extensions). But I'm very content with Yandex (no Google Play release logs though).
- messi843 6y agoOn Android Yandex is the only option, but I'm very content with it. Most extensions related to cookies aren't working on Kiwi though.
- combio 6y agoGlad to see you back! Was it again adam's complaints getting you blocked? BB is not as intuitive for me as github, I couldn't find where do you search in all their repositories not only in your own. And their sourcetree thing doesn't want to install by me for some reason.
- joker765 6y agoNo, BitBucket has some bugs indeed. But you can also clone the repo in GitHub client. Btw BB's clone-link already contains 'git clone' in the front.
