It looks like he just clarified some of the smaller moving parts in MVC but hilariously, he still ends up drawing a triangle for his diagram. It looks like E (events) is simply to illustrate oh yeah some communication is happening between these layers. I think that is pretty obvious? I'm not necessarily putting down what he was saying, but I don't think this is something revolutionary. I think he just dove deeper and expanded.
