At Starbucks they used the IR on my neck instead of my forehead. I was wondering if that was why. I don't know if many people try to game the systems here the same way they do in my home country (the U.S.). So far as I can tell as an outsider, the spirit is "we're in it together" and "let's do our part to keep each other healthy". This one of the countries where in normal times people wear face masks when they're sick in order to prevent infecting other people.
