All the extraneous ads, tracking, etc in Windows 10 has made it so I have never bothered upgrading from 7. It seems like it would be a huge pain to go through

All the extraneous ads, tracking, etc in Windows 10 has made it so I have never bothered upgrading from 7. It seems like it would be a huge pain to go through and disable or blocking everything, and even then how confident could I be that I didn't miss something?
