Since I gave my dad a Chromebook instead of a Windows machine - I have no problems at all. It is very hard for the tech support scammers to make him install anything on it.
- ocdtrekkie 7y agoMost malware I've seen in the field is Chrome extensions, so I would not assume this is enough. I recommend disabling browser extensions for maximum computer illiterate IT safety.
- pergadad 7y agoAnd then online banking and your government eID Middleware won't work...
