    The point is that the same people that proposed this are now protesting against it. Makes you wonder why?

      > people that proposed this are now protesting against it. Don't paint this as an opposition fueled protest. It is an anti-government protest by ordinary citizens who deeply care about secularism as espoused by the constitution. These would have happened then, as they have happened now.
