have the mx3, so far all good. but. I use linux... yes it works as a standard 5 mouse buttons, but there is no software for gestures or thumb scroll. Windows has those. Linux will probably never have anything like that (thumb gesture-button seems to trigger KeyPress Meta+TAB, binding it seems not-so-easy)
