(yes, well aware that many people make less than that. But sheesh... it's the Devil wears Prada updated for 2019)
- walrus01 7y ago40k a year for what sounds like 65-80 hour works weeks, and a daily torrent of Slack abuse from the CEO just sounds like a new level of purgatory for the rank and file workers. 40k gross in NYC with both federal, state and city income taxes, and cost of living in NYC, is truly a pittance.
- C1sc0cat 7y agoI got a vary fashion industry vibe from this fashion mags and the industry are super notorious for this. And I suspect the rise of "the apprentice" have given bullies a licence to behave badly as they saw it on the telly.
